"Who was William Shakespeare?" Book Discussion led by Lisa Robeson, Professor Emerita of English at ONU

Celebrate William Shakespeare’s birthday with a book discussion and cake!

Lisa Robeson, Professor Emerita of English at ONU, will lead a discussion on Will in the World: How Shakespeare became Shakespeare by Stephen Greenblatt.

Lisa has taught both introductory and advance courses on Shakespeare.

Copies of the book are available for checkout at the library front desk.

There will also be a limited number of the books on CD available.

Please register in advance.

"Bunny" Acrylic Paint Class

“Bunny” Acrylic Paint Class with Bluffton Art Company (R)($) will be held Tue., March 25 @ 6:00 p.m. Register at the library and come to the program prepared to try your hand at acrylic painting. Cost is $15 per person and will be taken at the door (cash only, please). Open to adults, and teens and children with an accompanying adult.

 

Mobile Health Clinic - ONU Healthwise at the Library

Mobile Health Clinic: The next Mobile Health Clinic will be held on Thu.,  Mar. 13 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. All services are provided by individuals with the Ohio Northern University Healthwise program. This clinic includes free screenings for blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol (please fast for 12 hours to participate in cholesterol or blood sugar screening.) Participants may speak with ONU Healthwise students and staff about their results or concerns, and even receive referrals to area doctor

Watercolor Workshop:  Crocus (R)($) will be held Thu., Mar. 13 from 2:00 p.m. - 3:45 p.m.  Local artist Jeanne Crumrine will teach on the lower level of the library. Walk away with your own watercolor piece of art, complete with mat! There is a $10 supply fee at the door (cash only please), and advance registration is required as space is limited. Open to adults and teens, and children with an accompanying adult.
